1948 Harley FL Panhead Bobber
Eugene from Clinton, Michigan, United States made available these photos of his 1948 Harley Model FL Panhead Bobber.
Eugene: "This bike was bought in Florida as a basket case a few years ago. She has been converted to 12 volt system with all new wiring, battery, horn, and lights. The speedo, o-ring chain, front and rear brakes are new. New 21" front and 16" rear tires, 3" risers, 12" high rise bars, 4" over fork tubes."
Eugene has made this dark red Custom Bobber out of a 1948 Harley Model FL Panhead basket case.
It would seem that the rake is more than the stock rake for 1948 FL's, so while we call her a Bobber, she may actually be a
Short Chop.

Eugene's Custom Bobber is powered by the classic 1948 Harley Davidson Model FL Panhead motor.
Eugene: "The heads, cylinders, and right case are 1948. I believe the internals are 1948 also. The left case is aftermarket with no numbers on the boss where the numbers go. There is no title. The Motor and Transmission have been completly rebuilt with 10 to 1 pistons and new heads. She has a S&S Super B carb and S&S air cleaner. Also a new S&S billet oil pump and new auto advance distributor."
